My name is Katie and I’m *always* taking pictures.
As a little kid, I was always so sad when a special event would end, or a visit from grandparents was over. I always wished that I could just bottle up a moment so that I could experience it over and over. I loved looking at our photo albums and watching home videos. When I later discovered photography, I realized that taking pictures was as close as I could get to bottling up those special moments so that I can revisit them and cherish them forever. That is what I want for you too.
Life moves so fast, and as a mom it has become even more important to me to hold, to document, and to capture the small and the big moments of my babies. My favorite thing about being a photographer is bringing out the candid, the *real* moments that represent the people we love the most. I believe each moment can be a special photo opportunity if we look through the lens of joy, creativity, and gratitude.
